2023 Mission

Acuña, Mexico

This December, the Wesley Foundation has the opportunity to serve Christ in Acuña, Mexico by building a home for a family in need. We’re partnering with ​Casas por Cristo,​ a Christian mission organization that serves people in need in Mexico, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. For nearly 40 years, ​Casas​ has scheduled volunteer teams to build homes for deserving families that don’t have a place of their own. They serve alongside a network of local pastors who identify families in need of shelter. This way the families are blessed through local churches in their communities as well as American missionary teams like ours. The pastors stay connected with the families and invite them into the fellowship of their churches. This will be Wesley’s fourteenth build with Casas por Cristo and our fourth mission in Guatemala.

Our group will need to raise $8,885 to pay for the materials of this home and each individual going on the trip will have to raise $300 each to pay for their transportation, lodging, food, etc.
